Fighting Clogged Pores
Do you wash your face both morning and night and still have clogged pores? Unfortunately, this is because routine washing isn’t enough to clear your pores. However, there are products and treatments you can use to make clogged facial pores a thing of the past!
Although blackheads are the most common culprits
of clogged pores, they can also be caused by natural oil secretions mixed with skin
germs. They can also be caused by milium cysts, which occur when keratin
becomes trapped beneath the surface of the skin.
Cleansing Brushes:Electric cleansing brushes remove more dirt, oil and makeup than
wipes or washes alone, as they’re able to reach deeper into your pores to
release the contents. Choose a gentle wash while using a brush, as strong
washes or exfoliants can be too harsh if paired with one. Creamy based cleansers are best for dry to normal skin while
gel based cleansers are best for normal to oily skin.
Exfoliating Cleansers:These cleansers include powerful ingredients that remove or
prevent clogged pores. A great exfoliator will prevent overproduction of sebum,
tighten your pores, and remove the outermost skin layers so fresh skin can
emerge. We recommend one including glycolic acid. Alternatively, you can choose
an exfoliating sugar scrub
for the removal of dead skin cells.
